Jun. 3--Arizona leads the nation in auto theft rates for the ninth straight year with an average of more than one stolen vehicle for every 100 residents, a whopping 30 percent higher than second- place Nevada, according to a report published Wednesday.
Maricopa County leads the state with 77.7 percent of the total thefts, while Pima County has 15.3 percent.
