Page 1: Business tax advisers are trying to soften tough new anti-avoidance measures in the

Markets: Fears of a sell-off in US stocks pushed Australian shares to their first decline
in three sessions. Firmer commodity prices and supportive interest rate differentials helped
the Australian dollar finish more than half a US cent firmer than at Friday's close.
