NSW: Egan offers Treasury assistance to KPMG
New South Wales Treasurer MICHAEL EGAN has offered Treasury help to accounting giantKPMG in its independent costing of the opposition's election promises.
Opposition leader JOHN BROGDEN announced earlier this week that KPMG would cost thecoalition's promises, and challenged Labor to also get its pledges costed by an independentagency.
Mr EGAN said the government will submit its proposals to KPMG if the opposition alsosubmits its proposals to Treasury.
