Build a website

The Germantown Community Library is hosting a class on how tobuild a free website. The class will be at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.Aug. 31 .

This class introduces tools for building a simple personalwebsite. Participants must be familiar with using the Internet. Pre-registration is required.

Collierville leadership

Leadership Collierville is accepting applications for both adultand youth classes.

College Collage

On Friday, the Memphis Public Library & Information Center willhost a College and Information Fair, dedicated to adults who havestarted college, but never finished. The event is called "CollegeCollage." It will be held at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library,3030 Poplar, from noon to 5 p.m. For information, call 415-2700.

Flag football league

The Memphis Flag Football League, a newly established league, islooking for women players age 18 and up. It is based on the NationalFlag Football rules and is an alternative to touch football. Toregister or for information, call 270-5165. The season starts Sept.11.

Animal adoption day

The Fayette County Animal Rescue will have a pet adoption daySaturday at PetSmart, 7941 Winchester, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.Adoption fee: $95.

Dance classes offered

The Memphis Jewish Community Center's School of Dance semesterbegins Aug. 15.
