Wireless communications solutions supplier Inventel has announced the upcoming release of its VoIP Wi-Fi/DECT wireless ADSL gateways for home users.
The new products will enable consumers to install a gateway in their home and carry out data and voice transmission over a broadband connection. The solution can also centralise all home wireless communications and enhances a user's security, according to Inventel.
A spokesperson for the company said the new solution will enable service providers to increase their revenue by offering value added services over fixed broadband networks.
The VoIP Wi-Fi/DECT wireless ADSL gateways will be made available some time in 2Q 2004. To date, no pricing details have been announced.
