ALBANY -- The New York flag was back up in the Georgia state Capitol, New York's governor was cracking jokes about the whole thing and his counterpart in Georgia was moving on to welfare reform.
Is the great flag flap really dead?
Not if talk radio hosts and politicians in both states have their way, apparently.
One Southern politician went so far as to say Pataki can forget about the South if he ever wants to run for president.
From Atlanta to Albany, controversy continued over Pataki's decision Monday to order Georgia's banner and its Confederate emblem removed from a Capitol display space. New York bashing was in full swing on radio shows in Georgia, while in Albany one radio host said he burned a Georgia state flag.
